Football live on the internet whatever next?

With the England v Ukraine game live on the web, is this the sign of things to come?
I hope not, it will be really awkward for me to sit with my head up close to my small laptop screen squinting and hoping to see something. And with my broadband connection being about as fast as Micky Quinn and Alan brazil are these days, i have no chance of enjoying the game. Please let me sit back in my arm chair watching my widesceen tv and have freedom of choice, well at least some choice as i am already a sky subscriber.
