CentreBet Review

CentreBet

CentreBet
Centrebet were the first Australian firm to come onto the UK scene and have been big players in Scandinavia for a while now. Whilst they may not be first port of call for many UK punters their sports coverage is excellent and they’re not afraid to lay a bet. Definitely worth having an account with. A £20 sign-up matched bonus hardly sets the juices flowing and being Aussies they have their own take on what constitutes an offer. There seem to be quite a lot of holidays to be won through the poker & casino sites but sports betting cash backs etc. are virtually non-existent.

Their site is actually very good. Having 3 different sections to scroll up and down on can be a little annoying but it’s got everything you’d want and it’s very clearly laid out. Be warned though- all odds are displayed in decimals (e.g. 6/4 comes up as 2.50) which can be a little confusing if you’re used to your fractions. They’ve recently come up with a new betslip which some of the UK firms would do well to copy.

Additional content isn’t as stat-based as the UK books but their tutorial is fantastic and as in-depth as anything out there for new bettors. There are a lot of fiendishly addictive mini-games craftily poised throughout the site which is the bookmaker’s equivalent of chocolate bars by the checkout counter- you know you’re going to regret your quick fix in the long-run.

If you’re into your Australian sports- particularly the Rugby League- you have to have an account with this lot as their coverage is second-to-none (and so it bloody should be). Their European sports coverage is a bit thin to stay the least but some of their cricket prices can be very appealing for a Pom.
