William Hill has been around for ages (since 1934 if you care about that sort of thing). They are on every high street in England and are solid and dependable, offering everything you’d expect. They launched a new site at the tail end of last year and seem a bit confused as to the direction they wish to take it. They had upped the Sportsbook ante by offering up to £100 in free bets, also the poker is a whopping £400. They have reduce their free bet back down to £25 we always knew it was too good to be true but that’s a sign of good punters, so keep going ! They seem perfectly content with the sports betting client base they have and don’t appear to be going after much more. Rather than the cash backs a lot of firms do nowadays they offer such things as “buy one get one free”. For example on the Champions League Final if you placed a £20 bet you got a free £5 live correct score bet- hardly mouth-watering stuff.

On first glance the William Hill website seems a bit all over the place but once you get into it, it’s nice to look at and really pretty simple. Placing multiples gets pretty complicated- it often says your selections are related when they’re blatantly not, you may have to enter them again, but no real harm done. Hill’s live betting is nowhere near as good as some of the others out there for a company of their size.Billy Hills’ content is actually quite unique- they’ve got a deal with Opta which is great for stats but signing up Big Ron and Tony Cascarino to do their football previews provides about as much insight as you’d expect from those two- very little.

Overall you can’t go far wrong with Hills but if live betting is your thing you’re better off elsewhere.
